What a great day. Abba awoke to streamers, balloons and presents galore. I don't ever want her to be disappointed in the fact that her b-day is so close to Christmas. So we do our best to make it magical. She was up bright and early opening her gifts and then we all headed to IHOP for breakfast. She was extremely suprised when the entire waitstaff sang Happy Birthday to her. But she was even more impressed that they gave her a special dessert after BREAKFAST.
The party was fun. All the kids picked a different stuffed friend to take home. Some of the names they came up with for their Bears were really cute. Amazingly I remained very calm and Mark was extremely helpful unloading the car and being handy for whatever I needed. Thanks honey. To everyone else who helped by taking pictures, videoing the party, helping to haul it all to the car and cleaning up; Your amazing and I love you all. The party flew by really fast, too fast, all that preparation and it's over in a flash. Abba had a blast and it was all about her day - ALL DAY. I sang happy b-day to her at least 3 dozen times. We also replayed the entire day before she headed to bed and recapped the day she was born.
Thank you to everyone who came and celebrated with us today. And Thank You God for entrusting us with this precious child. She truly is beautiful inside and out.

Well I know Maggie told you why we werent there and I am really sorry we had to miss it. Sydnee was really really really wanting to come but she was VERY excited to see Daddy and get to go fishing with him all day. We had no idea he was going to get home so early so that was a great surprise. I'm so glad Abba's party was a success. The pictures are really cute.
The party was perfect- I know that's b/c you are super organized. I'm so sorry about our gift. I tried to call your cell and see if ya'll were still there b/c it was almost 4:00 when Jason got back but there was no answer. I'll run in by your house the next time I'm on that side of town. Then I could see your house too! Ha!
I definitely don't think Abby could be dissappointed with all those presents in your living room- how fun! She is so blessed to have a mom (and dad) who made it such a special day for her. That is what it is all about!
